WHS Publication Guidelines
The researcher must provide semi-annual updates on the status of the research project to their associated WHS investigator. Progress reports should include results of analyses to date and should describe any problems encountered. The update should also include any abstracts submitted for presentation and any manuscripts submitted for publication.
Funding sources for the WHS data used must be acknowledged in all manuscripts.
A copy of all manuscripts using data from the WHS must be submitted to WHS PIs for approval PRIOR to submission for publication. The manuscript must be accompanied by a Manuscript Check and Approval form. A member of the WHS analysis team will complete an independent programming review, and sign the form. A scanned copy of the form, with all signatures, will be provided to the researcher. The review will be completed within 60 days.
